In the Tver region, a man for a day left a bound friend in the forest, who was stabbed with a knife

Employees of the SU IC of Russia in the Tver region completed the investigation of the criminal case against a man born in 1957, who appeared before the court for serious crimes. The state prosecution against him was supported by the prosecutor's office of the Tver region.

In May 2026, the man invited his girlfriend to the forest near the village of Mikhailovsky Toropetsk district. Out of a sense of jealousy, he began to exert psychological pressure on the victim, ordered to strip naked, while demonstrating a knife and scissors for intimidation.

After that, the man tied the victim and began stabbing various parts of the body, while voicing death threats. In this position, the woman was almost a day.

The man was found guilty under paragraph “d” of part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal deprivation of liberty with the use of weapons or objects used as weapons) and part 1 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (threat of murder if there were grounds to fear the implementation of this threat). He was sentenced to 3.6 years in a high-security correctional colony.
