In the Volgograd region, the general contractor is accused of embezzling 38 million rubles

According to the GU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Volgograd region, operatives of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption, together with employees of the regional department of the FSB, revealed the fact of theft of state money in Kamyshin. Kommersant received a contract for the construction of a state health care institution, but in the process of work transferred almost 38 million rubles to foreign accounts, not related to the execution of the contract.

Attempts by the head of the company to justify their actions by the rules of business and financial law were unsuccessful. Volgograd operatives together with colleagues from the Saratov region with the power support of the soldiers of Regardie detained the developer in the neighboring region.

At present, the actions of the arrested person were classified in the plane of criminal legislation, now law enforcement officers identify all possible accomplices in the criminal scheme. According to the sanctions of the article, the suspect faces a maximum penalty of up to 10 years in prison.

It should be noted that the contract with an unscrupulous contractor was terminated after an unscheduled visit to the site of the polyclinic under construction in Kamyshin, Volgograd region, Governor Andrei Bocharov. The relevant decisions have already entered into legal force.

Now in the region, an agreement has been concluded with an expert organization to assess the actual condition of the object, determine the scope of work performed, the degree of readiness of the object and the reliability of estimates.

After registration of the technical conclusion in a competitive manner, a new contractor will be selected.
