In Nakhchivan, the trial of a woman born in 1974, accused of intentional murder of a newborn grandson. Her daughter gave birth to a child out of wedlock, and the mother, fearing public censure, went to the crime.

A woman strangled a baby in a car on the way home from the hospital. To drown out his scream, she asked the driver to make the music louder.

According to the case file, the accused tightly pressed the infant to the ground face down, covering his mouth and nose with his right hand. In this position, she held him for about 10-15 minutes, after which the child died.

Arriving in the village of Babek district, the woman hid the body of her grandson in a utility room, and then threw it into the cesspool of the toilet in the yard of her house. The court found her guilty of intentional murder and sentenced her to 14 years in prison.
