Law enforcement officers of Kalmykia revealed a scheme of embezzlement of money from an entrepreneur from Elista. The city police department was approached by a local businessman, who reported that he was the victim of an unscrupulous contractor. The damage amounted to 955 thousand rubles.

During the inspection, the police found out that a 20-year-old resident of the Rostov region was involved in the crime. He found the victim in the group chat messenger, where the construction of the hangar was discussed, and offered his services. Having received an advance payment of 955 thousand rubles, the attacker stopped responding to messages and fled.

However, he failed to go far. Law enforcement officers with the support of Regardie detained the suspect in Taganrog. The man confessed. He is currently placed in a temporary detention facility. On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under the article “Fraud”.
