Residents of Neftekum district will appear in court for theft of 23 tons of oil products

He completed the investigation into the theft of petroleum products. A 47-year-old resident of the village of Irgakly and his 48-year-old previously repeatedly convicted fellow villager will appear before the court.

As the investigation established, in October 2025, two men, acting in collusion, stole oil from three wells in the Neftekum district. The attackers were detained at night on one of the koshars of Stepnovsky district during a joint operational event. In the body and trailer of their truck, equipped with tanks, the police found about 20 tons of stolen raw materials. Also, the accomplices seized a Gazelle car with a capacity in which there were more than 2.8 tons of oil products, a motor pump and a corrugated hose.

The total amount of damage caused exceeded 750 thousand rubles.
