The victory of the Democrats brought down shares of AI infrastructure

In global markets, shares of companies related to infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI) have collapsed: chip manufacturers, data center operators and electricity suppliers. Only on November 5, the NASDAQ 100 index lost $2.3 trillion in capitalization, the S&P 500 – $2.8 trillion, and the next day the sale spread to Asia. The reason was the victory of Democrats in the midterm elections in the United States. Its success across the country has raised the possibility that authorities will begin to suspend the construction of new data centers.
