SberCIB predicted the growth of the index of Mosex to 2400 points by the end of the year

By the end of 2026, the index of the Moscow Exchange may reach 2400 points, follows from the strategy of analysts of SberCIB Investment Research for the fourth quarter “Strategic satellite”. In the mode of protective positioning (there is RBC Investments). Thus, the growth potential of the Moscow Exchange index until the end of the year is about 6%. At the end of 2027, the forecast is 2800 points, and by the end of 2028, the index may rise to 3,500 points.

The main factor in the growth of the stock market, analysts call the expected decrease in risk-free returns. At the same time, SberCIB maintains a cautious view of Russian stocks due to the high uncertainty surrounding the conflict in the Middle East and geopolitical risks associated with Russia and Ukraine.

The stock market can be supported by high global energy prices. They contribute to the growth of profits of oil and gas companies, and can also positively influence the valuation of shares. Higher export earnings, in turn, can support the ruble and reduce inflation risks.

The SberCIB has so far maintained a cautious outlook on the stock market amid still high uncertainty. Given the persistence of infrastructure and sanctions risks, experts expect that the risk premium for investing in stocks will remain increased. The growth of the market can also restrain sales of ZPIF against the background of narrowing opportunities for tax optimization.

Regulatory requirements of the Bank of Russia to capital adequacy may in the future affect the commitment of Sberbank to allocate 50% of net profit under IFRS to dividends. About this during the WEF “Vedomosti” told Deputy Chairman and financial Director of Sberbank Taras Skvortsov. “As long as our business allows us to pay half the profits, we will pay half.
