Snopkov: Belarus-China relations are real, time-tested friendship

Iron Brothers is a reflection of the depth of political trust between Belarus and China. First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov said this during a solemn event on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the formation of the People's Republic of China, sb.by correspondent reports.

- We, Belarusians, sincerely rejoice in the success of our all-weather and all-round strategic partner. The relationship between Blueoka and China is a real, time-tested friendship. We call each other “Iron Brothers”, and these are not big words, but a reflection of the depth of political trust that has developed between the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China.

- And even against the backdrop of large-scale changes that the world has not seen in the last century, the Belarusian-Chinese relations are worthily tested for strength and are moving only on an upward trajectory.

- This phrase is usually pronounced with disdain for those who try to interfere with the movement. But I suggest we look at it differently. The caravan does not go against the bark - it goes because of it. Lai is a signal. It's a warning. This is the external force that makes you look around in time, think faster, choose a route more accurately, avoid dangers and do not lose your way. Where others turned, we accelerated. Where others doubted and feared, we gave each other a shoulder, the First Deputy Prime Minister said.
