3.2 thousand calls received on the children's helpline from residents of the Tambov region

In the Tambov region, the all-Russian children's helpline continues to work. According to the Ministry of Social Protection and Family Policy of the region, in 2026 it received more than 3.2 thousand applications from residents of the region. About 2.3 thousand calls were recorded from children and adolescents.

Parents of children and adolescents dialed the number 217 times, other citizens - 749 times. Most often, the calls concerned issues of child-parent relations, educational problems and career guidance.

Children's helpline is 8-800-2000-122. The activities of the service in the region are supervised by specialists of the Center “Care”. Calls are accepted only by professional psychologists trained in distance counseling.

The basic principles of the helpline are confidentiality and free. Most often, adolescents 12-18 years old seek psychological help. They ask about the problems of loneliness, leisure, boredom, ask for advice on relationships with peers.

Ensuring the activity of the children's helpline is included in the action plan of the Decade of Childhood.
