In Borovichi school opened a patriotic museum “Heirs of Victory”
Today in Borovichi school No. 9, the opening of the patriotic museum “Heirs of Victory” took place. This project was initiated by the students themselves. The guys wanted to get away from the format of the usual quiet office with windows and create a modern, living space where history ceases to be something detached and becomes a personal matter of everyone, said the head of the Borovichi municipal district Andrey Gerasimov. The guest of honor at the holiday was veteran of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Emmanuilovich Zlatin. For him, these walls are especially expensive, because from 1944 to 1952 he studied here himself, although at that time the school wore number 14. Igor Emmanuilovich shared his warm memories with the children and made an invaluable gift to the museum: he handed over a book and unique materials from his personal archive to the school director Veronika Ilchenko, who will now take a worthy place in the new exhibition.
