The plaintiff indicated that he learned about problems with the venue for the concert after buying tickets and paying for the hotel. He asked the court to recover from the organizer almost 160 thousand rubles.
In Babushkinsky district court of Moscow received a statement of claim to LLC "Say Edgency" (legal entity Say Agency), the organizer of concerts of rapper Kanye West in St. Petersburg, about the return of money for the purchase of tickets, the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow reported.
According to the statement, the plaintiff paid for two tickets 80 thousand rubles. and paid a service fee of 8 thousand rubles. In addition, he bought train tickets for 32.6 thousand rubles. and booked hotel accommodation for 29.7 thousand rubles.
The plaintiff points out that after all the expenses, he learned that there was no rental agreement for the venue for the event and that the possibility of holding a concert is very uncertain.
He asked the court to recover from the organizer in total almost 160 thousand rubles.
This is not the first complaint against Say Agency. On September 18, the claim for the protection of consumer rights was submitted to the Vyborg district court of St. Petersburg, the defendants were the organizer of the concert and the seller of tickets “Intikets”.
About the concerts of Kanye West in St. Petersburg, the organizers reported on August 17. They are announced for October 10 and 11. The cost of tickets reached 160 thousand rubles. for seats in the VIP box. Director General of the Agency Anna Subcheva said that during the day was sold 81 thousand tickets.
On August 24, Gazprom Arena said that it had not signed a contract for the Kanye West concert and was not its organizer. The company stressed that there is no contract for the lease of the stadium for the concert, so the event will not be able to take place on this site. At the same time, the poster of the West concert disappeared from the Gazprom Arena website.
September 18 concerts in St. Petersburg disappeared from the schedule on the official website of the tour of the rapper. Subcheva linked this to the "reaction to chaos" around the events.
On the eve of the evening in the telegram chat Say Agency there was a message that in case of cancellation of the concert, the audience will be refunded. However, the organizers did not deny the fact of the event.
