“During operational measures, police officers established the identity of the girl involved in the publication of a video on the social network containing obscene words desecrating the Rzhev memorial to the Soviet soldier,” the report said.
The detainee is a former student of the Tver State Agricultural Academy. She admitted that she spoke obscenely to the Rzhev Memorial, and apologized to the residents of Tver and Tver region. The girl also admitted that she did the wrong thing.
On Monday, October 5, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case after the publication of a video with the desecration of the Rzhevsky memorial to the Soviet soldier in the Tver region. The case is being investigated under Part 3 of Art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code on the rehabilitation of Nazism. The maximum penalty under this article is up to three years in prison.
Earlier, local media distributed a video where a girl in the company of friends called the monument obscene word.
