Meghan Markle's father arrested on child pornography charges
In Florida arrested 82-year-old Thomas Markle Sr., the father of Duchess Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Garia. He is accused of possessing materials related to child abuse

In the United States, federal agents arrested 82-year-old Thomas Markle Sr. - the father of the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle - on charges related to material containing scenes of child sexual abuse. This is reported by The Associated Press and The Sun.
The man was arrested in Florida, where he lived in an elderly care facility.
Earlier this week, devices and files containing scenes of sexual abuse of children of both sexes were found in the home of Markle Sr. in the Philippine city of Cebu.
The reason for the investigation was the statement of Thomas Markle Jr. (brother of Meghan Markle). Markle Sr. moved to Cebu in January 2025 and his son, who cared for him after a stroke, settled in a nearby home. He said he had discovered "hundreds if not thousands" of child pornography images in his father's boxes. “What I saw made me sick ... I knew right away that it was totally illegal, he said, adding that he had filed a complaint with the FBI and Pennsylvania State Police.
Meghan Markle said she was "deeply saddened" by what happened. She also said that in 2018, a letter was sent to the London police containing “disturbing accusations” against her father, but then she was assured that the situation is under the control of the relevant services.
The Duchess's father has not maintained a relationship with her since he was unable to attend her wedding due to health reasons.
Thomas Markle Sr. denies all the allegations, calling them "lies." “This is bullshit. It's just a lie. It's disgusting. I have no idea why Tom is trying to destroy me with this lie.
