In Serpukhov, drivers will be checked for sobriety: what threatens for drunk driving

The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds that according to paragraph 2.7 of the traffic regulations of the Russian Federation, the driver is prohibited from driving a vehicle in a state of alcoholic, narcotic or other intoxication, as well as transferring control to a person who is in a state of intoxication. For ignoring this requirement, Article 12.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation provides for an administrative fine of 45 thousand rubles with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of one and a half to two years.

In case of disputes on the road, the traffic police department recommends the use of audio and video recording.
