Organized Russian tourists can not be afraid of raids of the Department of registration of foreigners in the Indian state of Goa to identify violators of the visa regime, told RBC the press service of the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR).
Earlier, The Goan Everydau wrote that in early November, the Department of registration of foreigners in Goa during raids identified three Russian citizens, a Ukrainian and her minor son, who entered India on tourist visas, but at the time of the inspection did not have valid residence permits. Earlier, three more Russians were deported from the country, who were in the country on tourist visas, but violated the terms of stay.
“The described problem does not in any way affect tourists from the Russian Federation, whose vacation is normal and without incidents,” the ATOR reported.
Customers of Russian tour operators spend an average of 10-14 days in Goa. They enter for the purpose of beach holidays on an electronic visa, fly out according to plan, not allowing visas to expire, and do not engage in illegal activities.
In late September, three foreigners, including two Russians, were detained by immigration officials in Bali. As noted in the Department, the detainees in violation of the rules of stay worked as DJs in the local club.
