Alexandria Theatre Seeks Firefighters for $29.6 Million

The oldest theater in St. Petersburg announced a competition for fire protection of its buildings for 2027 and 2028. The starting price of the lot reached 29.59 million rubles. This writes the portal argumenti.ru.

There are four buildings to be protected from the fire. Among them are the main historical building on Ostrovsky Square, the New Stage on the Fontanka embankment, as well as a couple of administrative buildings.

The tasks of duty officers included inspection of automatic systems, bypassing the territory and checking evacuation routes. In addition, they must ensure compliance with safety regulations before and after submissions. In case of fire, employees will have to organize the rescue of spectators and material values.

If there is a threat of emergency, the contractor will have to double the number of postmen in an hour. They do not plan to pay separately for this. In total, such enhancements may not last more than 72 hours for the entire period of the contract.
