Residents of the Tula region will be able to go on excursions to Epiphany, Yasnaya Polyana and Polenovo for free. The regional tourist bus has prepared three new routes for November and December, but preliminary registration will be required to participate in trips, the governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev said in his channel in the MAH.
In the meantime, another bus departure took place. This time, travelers visited Efremov, which is also called the capital of Beautiful.
The first stop was the house-museum of I. A. Bunin. The guests got acquainted with the history of the building, which has the status of an object of cultural heritage of federal significance. The museum exposition has been working here for more than 40 years, and the institution officially became the House-Museum 25 years ago.
To the 150th anniversary of the writer’s birth, the building was restored. Specialists have restored the original layout and Dutch furnaces, which are an important part of the historic interior.
Then the tourists visited the Ephraim district art and local history museum. There they were shown archaeological finds, ancient household items, tools, dioramas, as well as collections dedicated to local nature and the history of the Great Patriotic War. Separate halls tell about outstanding natives of Efremov: artist A. P. Gushchin, Honored Artist of the RSFSR L. M. Fetisova, conductor and composer K. K. Ivanov.
Another point of the route was the museum of aircraft designer Vladimir Myasishchev. It contains personal documents, drawings and sketches of a famous engineer born in Efremov.
Before returning to Tula, the participants of the trip strolled along Red Square and the embankment of the Beautiful Sword.
Free excursions, as noted by Dmitry Milyaev in social networks, allow residents of the region to get acquainted with the history and sights of their native land. The project also contributes to the development of domestic tourism within the framework of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality”.
Previously, a tourist bus has already delivered travelers to Kulikovo field, to Krapivna, Odoev, Venev, Dubna, Chekalin and Plavsk.
The next trips are scheduled for November 21 in Epiphany, December 5 in Yasnaya Polyana and December 19 in Polenovo. You can sign up for excursions on the regional tourist portal "Tula Visit". The organizers promise to publish information about the following routes on the eve of departure.
