The highway did not miss the plane in Pulkovo and caused damage to 4.4 million

Two employees of Pulkovo airport will go on trial after a collision of the highway with the wing of the aircraft. As a result, damage was caused in the amount of more than 4.4 million rubles.

As reported in the St. Petersburg transport Prosecutor’s office, the indictment in the criminal case has already been approved.

According to the investigation, on June 19, 2026, employees violated security requirements and job descriptions. This led to a collision of the highway with the left wing of the aircraft.

The amount of damage caused exceeded 4.4 million rubles.

The criminal case was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.

The North-Western Transport Prosecutor’s Office earlier organized an inspection into the fact of damage to the terminal of Pulkovo airport. It is specified that the truck crashed into the ramp in December 2025.
