Belarus calls on Europe to stop so that the world avoids the worst-case scenario. This opinion was expressed by the editor-in-chief of the magazine “National Defense” (Russia) Igor Korotchenko on the air of the TV channel “Belarus 1”, writes sb.by.

Igor Korotchenko noted that in the current situation in the world, Belarus calls on the European elites to stop and start a dialogue in order to prevent escalation and avoid the worst scenarios. The corresponding message was voiced by the Belarusian head of state at the Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.
- At the same time, I must say that this speech is not just a policy, but a practice: according to his political experience, Alexander Lukashenko is an order of magnitude, head ahead of any representatives of the Western establishment. This is a person who has survived many critical situations, including an attempted coup by the hands of Western countries, and nevertheless survived, defended the interests of the Belarusian people and the state, Korotchenko said.
The most important thing now is to stop the world from sliding into World War III. In this regard, Igor Korotchenko stressed the efforts of Belarus aimed at de-escalating the situation in the region.
