“Without registration – will not refuse”: how to get medical care without registration

No registration? This is no reason to be without a doctor. A citizen of Russia has the right to medical care regardless of residence permit. This was told by State Duma Deputy Nikita Chaplin.

If you live without permanent or temporary registration, you can still see a doctor. The main thing is to understand what help is available in your situation.

If there is a threat to life, help will be provided free of charge and without a policy, and without an identity card. Call 103 or 112.

If the condition is acute, but life is not threatened - you can contact the nearest clinic without attachment. You'll need a policy or a passport.

For planned treatment, you need a MHI policy and attachment to the clinic. Temporary registration is not required for this. If you need hospitalization, the doctor will give a referral and a list of examinations.

And if the clinic refuses free examination or treatment - do not be silent. Lawyer Yana Kovalevskaya advises: first to the management of the medical institution, then to the insurance company, the territorial fund of the MHI and Roszdravnadzor.
