As reported by the first Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Daria Lantratova TASS, for workers with a small experience and low income, sick leave will be recalculated, which will reach almost 29 thousand rubles per month. Maternity payments will also increase significantly. For a standard holiday of 140 days, the woman will receive about 133 thousand rubles, and for difficult births, the amount will exceed 184 thousand. The allowance for caring for a baby up to 1.5 years for working mothers will be more than 11.5 thousand rubles.

In addition, employers will have to pay employees to the level of the minimum wage if their average earnings when calculating vacation or business trips were below the established minimum. For those whose salary already exceeds this threshold, the procedure for accruing sick leave and maternity leave will remain the same.
