In the Rostov region, a former employee of the Myasnikovsky district office of bailiffs Marina Z. (name changed) is trying to appeal the verdict. Late last year, she was sentenced to 7.6 years in prison for mediating bribery.
The story occurred in 2023, when the post of head was vacated in the department. Marina Z. invited her colleague, Andrei D. (name changed), to take this post for remuneration. She organized a meeting with a man who introduced himself as an employee of law enforcement agencies and promised assistance in the appointment for 3.1 million rubles. Marina Z. added 1.1 million rubles for her services, bringing the total amount to 4.3 million rubles.
Andrey D. collected and transferred a significant part of the money, but he never received a new position. Realizing that he had been deceived, he went to the police. During the investigation, it turned out that neither Marina Z., nor her friend “silovik” had anything to do with law enforcement agencies. They intended to deceive the bailiff.
As a result, the man who received the money was convicted of fraud for five years in prison. Marina Z., as an intermediary in bribery, received a more severe punishment - 7.6 years in prison.
Now the ex-court officer is appealing the verdict. Complaints have already been submitted to the Rostov Regional Court, and then to the Fourth Court of Cassation of General Jurisdiction. A meeting on the cassation appeal is scheduled for October 27.
