The Foreign Ministry recommends that Belarusians temporarily refrain from traveling to some European countries due to the difficult political situation. About the reasons for the warning on the air of the talk show “Budni” on “SBTV” and “Alfa Radio” told the Chairman of the Belarusian party “White Russia” Olga Chemodanova, writes sb.by.
Olga Chemodanova noted that a few years ago, few people wanted to believe that such a development would be possible:
- But what happened was predictable. What we are seeing in Europe is a consequence of the events of the last few years. And we understand that what is happening is far from the limit.
According to the guest of the program, the situation in European countries can be judged, including by foreign media reports. Protest actions continue, their geography is expanding: they are held, in particular, in Portugal, Spain and Italy.
- Of course, wherever a citizen of Belarus is, it is very important for us to ensure his safety and create the necessary conditions for staying abroad. But we must take into account that our diplomatic presence in these countries is not so wide, she said. If there are protests in the country, especially political ones, it is better to refrain from traveling and do not plan a visit.

- If we talk about where it is calm and good, I think many will agree: it is in our country that we feel completely safe – under a peaceful sky. Belarus is primarily a country of peace, harmony and creation. Here we can receive guests so that they can see and see it again.
The talk show “Budney” is released on weekdays in the morning on “Alpha Radio”. Each issue discusses the most relevant topics from the life of the country and the world. Political scientists, scientists, public figures and journalists of leading media participate in the discussions.
