Members of the NAO learned about the traditions of the Intercession

On October 7, members of the Nenets district organization “All-Russian Society of Disabled People” visited the local history museum. The meeting was incredibly bright and warming.

The participants learned about the feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God and amazing traditions: it turns out that the scarf was a talisman not only for women. Mothers and wives tied their husbands and sons around their necks before heavy campaigns and battles to shelter and keep them from danger.

The most touching was the weaving of the cover, which showed how much we depend on loved ones: the closer a person is, the stronger his threads in our fate. And at the creative master class, everyone drew his own handkerchief, putting a piece of soul into it. The day ended with heartfelt conversations about faith and forgiveness.
