This Wednesday, October 28, the governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev paid a working visit to the Uzlovsky district. The program was rich – the focus of the head of the region was the education sector, sports, dairy and a number of other nuances.
According to Dmitry Milyaev himself, the first point was the Lokomotiv FOC, which is currently under repair. The facility is being updated under the auspices of the regional program and now its readiness, according to the governor, is quite large - over 60%. Inside there will be a sports and game hall, a choreography hall, and a swimming pool. The repair will be comprehensive, and it will affect the surrounding space (alongside will be located inclusive sports grounds).
“At this point in time, everything is moving at the pace we expected. I think by the end of January 2027, this facility will be completed and commissioned. Just in this facility we will have a second fijital hall One we are building today. There will be a second such complex. Therefore, we pay quite a lot of attention to the development of sports, Governor Dmitry Milyaev said.
Separately, the head of the Tula region dwelled on how roads are repaired in the municipality. This area was also in the focus of attention, especially since about 130 million rubles were allocated for it this year (this is money from the regional and municipal budgets).
We tried to close not 100% of the problems that the municipality has in terms of the state of infrastructure, but the most painful points that worried residents the most. Next year we will continue our work, Dmitry Milyaev assured.
An important point of the program was a visit to the lyceum in the Uzlovsky district, renovated in 2026. From the governor’s point of view, the educational institution was supported by local enterprises, for example, equipping classrooms with the necessary specialized equipment in physics and chemistry. And this approach, according to Milyaev, helps children get a quality education.
Not without a visit to the Uzlovsky Dairy Plant.
“I have known this company for a long time. Once it started with traditional dairy products - cottage cheese, milk (all that we usually see on store shelves). Today, the company is developing quite actively (almost 600 people work there) and specializes in deep processing of milk. And, in fact, it has serious ambitions to increase production and become a leader. It is gratifying that in 10-12 years the enterprise has come a long way in its development, the governor said.
And then separately praised the plant in terms of social support for employees and their families.
At the end of the working day, Dmitry Milyaev visited the walls of the medical college, updated about the Professionality program and received simulators and equipment important for future specialists. By the way, the students demonstrated to the head of the region how they are taught using AI technologies. It happens as follows: students perform tasks, and the computer evaluates the results.
“From my point of view, everything turned out quite well. From a conversation with the kids, they like to learn. Let us hope that soon our active youth, who are studying in the walls of this institution, will replenish our health care institutions, the governor concluded.
