Postmen of the Shchuchinsky district regularly confirm their high professionalism. There is no turnover of personnel, and young employees are carefully cared for and taught the basics of skills by more experienced colleagues. One of these mentors is Lyudmila Shmiguero from the city village of Ostrino.

According to Lyudmila Ivanovna, the team in their department is small, but very friendly:

- I go to work like a party. And it's not a stamp on duty! I am proud to be a postman. We are four like-minded colleagues. You could say four Musketeers. This is the head of the postal service Nina Brikach, postman Elena Pogranovskaya, operator Olga Yushkevich and me. A few years ago, a large-scale reconstruction of the building where we work was carried out. Renovated the roof, insulated the walls, replaced all communications and electrical wiring, the facade became even more beautiful. Now it is very cozy and always crowded. This is one of the centers of life of a large urban village.

Lyudmila Schmiguero says that working in the outback, where everyone knows each other well, involves great responsibility. There is no right to even the smallest mistake or inaccuracy.

- I have known many of my countrymen since childhood. Therefore, a mailman’s bag is not just a work attribute, but someone’s aspirations, hopes, waiting for long-awaited news from loved ones. Only periodicals - more than 180, - she shares.

Villagers actively order mail and related goods. Even appliances, including washing machines, refrigerators, electric bicycles, and motoblocks. The woman separately notes that it is very important to go to people with a positive, then they will reciprocate you.

It is hard to believe, but Lyudmila Ivanovna already has a granddaughter. This is another source of her happiness. Granddaughter Eva four months, the baby inspires a young grandmother.

At one of the wickets we meet a local resident Elena Breus. And she speaks of her postman only in enthusiastic tones:

- I'm already in Ostrino. So, our Ivanovna from the first day we accepted and loved, as they say, immediately and irrevocably. She gives people positive things. A lot of people say, “Oh, our sun has come!”

Can you find a more convincing argument that a person is really in his place?
