The first month of winter 2026 can become a serious test for the population of many subjects of the Russian Federation. According to preliminary calculations of meteorologists, December temperatures will go beyond the climatic norm, and the year will end in conditions of abnormal cold.
The most severe weather conditions at the beginning of the month are predicted for Siberia and the Urals. Already in the first decade, thermometers in Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and Khabarovsk are capable of reaching -30°C. The Far East risks becoming the epicenter of bad weather: by the end of December in Vladivostok and the surrounding areas, the frost may increase to -40 ° C.
