The case of propaganda of terrorism was brought against a resident of Makhachkala for publishing in Telegram

Investigators opened a criminal case against a resident of Makhachkala on the fact of public justification and propaganda of terrorism, according to the SU IC of Russia in Dagestan.

According to the investigation, the defendant posted in one of the chats of the messenger Telegram audio material with statements aimed at forming the ideology of terrorism and the idea of the admissibility of terrorist activity. The material was available to an unlimited number of users.

Investigative actions are underway to establish all the circumstances and collect evidence. The suspect faces up to seven years in prison.
