Day of the Union State for children of cadet shift from Belarus and Russia was held in Zubrenka

The Day of the Union State “Slavic Allegiance Union” was held today, September 22, in the National Children’s Educational and Wellness Center “Zubrenok” during the civil-patriotic cadet shift of students of the Union State “For the Honor of the Fatherland”, the correspondent of sb.by reports.

This day turned out in a special festive way: a solemn line, a march parade of shift participants, an exhibition of military equipment, a festive concert program "Slavic loyalty union". The students and their teachers were addressed by Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly Commission on Science and Education Mikhail Mironchik. He stressed the importance of educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and loyalty to the Motherland:

- The cadet is not just the beautiful uniform and parade we saw today. It's much deeper. In my opinion, this is the core that each of you has. He will encourage you to do great things for your country. I am convinced that it is you who can, by your own example, promote popular diplomacy among the younger generation of Belarusians and Russians.

In the period from 8 to 28 September in “Zubrenka” at the expense of the budget of the Union state held a civil-patriotic cadet shift of students of the Union state “For the honor of the Fatherland”. This time it brought together 42 student delegations (502 people) and 42 accompanying students. An interesting and diverse program was prepared for the participants: participants will visit the Khatyn Memorial Complex, the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, and go on a sightseeing tour of Minsk. In addition, the children compete in various competitions: presentations of delegations, building and songs, connoisseurs of military history, staged military-patriotic song, military-sports relay “Hurricane”. According to the results of the competition, winners and prize-winners will be determined.
