Denis Pasler praised the readiness of the newly built school and fire station
In the fire-affected village of Sosva, an educational institution was opened, a medical institution was updated and a new fire station appeared

Multifunctional centre
The Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Denis Pasler paid a working visit to the village of Sosva, where he assessed new educational and security facilities. The head of the region checked the readiness of the new school building No. 4, which will accept students after the end of the autumn holidays.
The old building of school No. 4 was wooden, it was built in 1908. There were only nine study rooms. The dining room and workshops did not have sewers, heating was provided by a wood-burning boiler room, water came from the well.
A new three-storey building with an area of 10 thousand square meters was built. It will train 300 schoolchildren not only from Sosva, but also from nearby settlements.
“In fact, this is a multifunctional educational center, because, in addition to the educational process, additional classes in various areas will be organized here to develop children’s creative and sports talents,” said Denis Pasler. The school has become comfortable and modern, with comfortable classes, a spacious assembly hall, an information center and a library.
For schoolchildren, two halls, a football field, a four-lane treadmill, a volleyball and basketball courts have been created. A barrier-free environment has been created for children with disabilities. The school has a well-coordinated teaching staff, some teachers have been teaching for more than 40 years.
“On November 1, school No. 4 turns 118 years old, and the new building will be a great gift to the staff, students and their parents,” the head of the region said. I am sure that Sosvin residents will continue to preserve the rich history of the school and long-standing traditions. The new building has every opportunity to do so.”.
The implementation of the project allowed to qualitatively improve the educational infrastructure, create modern conditions for the education and upbringing of children, and improve the quality of life in the municipality. This corresponds to the objectives of the national projects “Family” and “Youth and Children”.
Everything you need for the job
Denis Pasler in Sosva inspected the new fire station, which serves eight settlements with a population of more than 7 thousand people. It replaced the 1940 building, which did not meet modern requirements.
Residents of Sosva remember the fire in 2023, which brought huge destruction. To strengthen the fire protection service, a new modern depot was built in the village, Denis Pasler said. The two-storey building has everything you need for work and training of firefighters: a garage with a maintenance post and a separate post for washing tankers, a sports training complex.
The fire department employs 37 specialists, three fire trucks are in service. In the near future, the number of personnel is expected to increase to 46 people.
“Forest is the wealth of the Sverdlovsk region, it requires careful and careful handling,” said Denis Pasler. We are consistently strengthening the logistical base of the fire and rescue services of the region in order to preserve the forest and, in case of danger, to use all forces and means for the prompt elimination of fires.
Another level of assistance
In addition, after major repairs in Sosva opened a medical outpatient clinic - a division of the Serov city hospital. 6.5 thousand people receive medical care here. The institution was modernized with the support of Denis Pasler under the national project “Long and active life”.
The total investment exceeded 114 million rubles. During the work, the outpatient clinic building was renovated, modern diagnostic equipment appeared, which was previously available only in large cities.
On the first floor in the X-ray block there is an ultrasound diagnostics room and a digital fluorograph. We have our own inpatient mammography office. On the second floor there are surgical and dressing rooms, offices of a dermatologist and telemedicine consultations.
“For us, it was fundamentally important not just to update the walls, but to create a full-fledged diagnostic and treatment complex right here in the village,” said Ivan Boltasev, chief doctor of the Serov City Hospital. Now women do not need to go to Serov for mammography, doctors can conduct dermatoscopy, get in touch with colleagues from regional clinics. This is a completely different level of assistance.”.
