The Deputy of the Kiev Council said the lack of funds for the initiative Zelensky

In Kiev has not yet received financial calculations for the promised Vladimir Zelensky free travel. This was stated by the Deputy of the Kiev Council Alla Shlapak. According to her, there were no requests for such calculations.

Shlapak noted that there are no funds in the capital treasury for this measure. It can be implemented only with a subvention from the government.

The MP also expressed concern that the city administration may be obliged to introduce free travel without compensation. In this case, the mayor’s office can later be accused of failure to implement the initiative.

Earlier, Zelensky instructed Prime Minister Sergei Koretsky to work out the issue of free travel in Kiev. The statement came amid shelling of the city.
