Margarita Radkova, a doctor from Gorok: “My family helps me to constantly develop and learn something new”

Margarita Radkova is only 29 years old, but she already has many achievements. After graduating from Vitebsk State Medical University, he works in the Goretsk Central District Hospital and combines two favorite specializations - an obstetrician-gynecologist and an ultrasound doctor. Helps babies to be born and supports their mothers, and also helps to ensure that residents of the area remain healthy for as long as possible.

Photo from the personal archive of Margarita Radkova She is also a caring mother of four-year-old Kirill. Despite the considerable load at work and at home, the young doctor leads a very active lifestyle: conducts fitness training, takes part in tourslets, health days. Participated even in the regional competition “AutoLady”, held in Mogilev.

He spends all his free time with his family: he travels with his husband and son, skates, bicycles and even on a motorcycle, visits the pool, goes fishing.

Margarita says:

- I'm a person who just physically can't sit still, neither in life nor in profession. I constantly need to move, improve, love to learn and never stop there. In the past, I was engaged in dancing and weightlifting, and I am also a candidate for master of sports in armwrestling. I think if I stop, my world will collapse.

And it's not just words. For example, Margarita is a blood donor. As soon as he finds out that someone lacks it, he immediately decides for himself: “I am going to give it up.” After this manipulation, even the healthiest person feels weak. As a doctor, she understands that it would be necessary to spend some time in a calmer mode, to give herself rest, but still goes to training, because otherwise she cannot.

When asked why she became a doctor, she says that when it came time to choose a profession in high school, she immediately decided to connect her life with medicine, and her parents and teachers supported her. Her mother is also a medical worker, a nurse in the Goretskaya CRB. When Margarita was little, her mother often took her to work, and now the young doctor herself sometimes comes on duty with her child.

Nikita SKRIHRENKO, First Secretary of the Goretsky District Committee of the BRSM:

- There are many talented young people in our area. Special admiration is caused by our representatives of the fair sex: they master very complex, noble and popular professions, achieve high results. At home, they are caring wives and mothers, while managing to take an active part in all the most important processes occurring in society. They have many interesting, useful hobbies and know how to lead countrymen. Looking at them, the future of the country can be calm.
