By the end of the year, three more educational buildings built under concession will be commissioned in Bashkiria
In Bashkiria will build three schools for 1225 places each

Two new schools will appear in Ufa - in the Lenin and Dem districts, another - in the district No. 14 of Neftekamsk.
According to the schedule, the educational buildings should be completed this year.
It should be noted that the practice of public-private partnership in the republic has already yielded the first fruits. On August 29 this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin opened a new building of school No. 88 in Ufa with 1,225 seats, which was also built according to this scheme.
The history of concession schools in Bashkiria began in December 2022. Then the government of the republic signed an agreement with ProSchool on the construction of six educational institutions at once. The goal was ambitious: to eliminate the acute shortage of places in new neighborhoods, where due to population growth, schools were forced to work in two shifts. The total investment at that time was estimated at 12 billion rubles.
In addition to the mentioned building of school No. 88, other projects have already been successfully implemented in the region.
The education center in the village of Shmidtovo in the Ufa district was opened in January of this year. This is a school for 640 places with a kindergarten for 160 pupils. The building has subject rooms, a class of creative industries, sports and gymnastics halls, a dining room for 320 people, a music hall, a medical unit with a dental office and a football field.
The project received a capital grant: 849.1 million rubles from the federal budget and 622.4 million rubles of investments from VEB.RF. The head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, noted that the format of the concession required solving many organizational and legal issues, but the facility was built and gradually put into operation.
Concession allows the region not to find the entire amount for construction at once. Private investment and a federal capital grant go to construction and equipment. And the region receives the object and gradually pays for it for 10-15 years. At the same time, the company is not just an investor, but an organizer: it attracts contractors, including local ones, and provides comprehensive equipment for schools.
As support for such projects, Bashkortostan is also considering additional measures: for example, privileges on property tax for concessionaires to exclude counter financial flows in the budget.
However, not all concession projects in the region went smoothly, and the story of the school in the Ufa district of Zaton-Vostochny was indicative. The agreement was concluded in November 2021 with the deadline for the completion of the facility in the summer of 2023. However, the deadlines were repeatedly postponed, and by 2024 the construction completely stopped. In March 2025, the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Belarus terminated the concession agreement, taking into account the default of the investor.
The ownership of the unfinished school and the right to lease a land plot passed to the republic, because of which the authorities had to complete the construction of the facility.
