Donetsk schoolchildren are thinking about a career on the railway

Thirty pupils of school No. 2 in Volnovakha took part in an online meeting about railway professions. The lesson was organized by a branch of the Employment Service as part of career guidance work on the national project “Personnel”.

Students were told how the railway industry is developing and what specialists are in demand in it. Among the possible directions is the work of a machinist, dispatcher, electromechanic, operation engineer, safety specialist and trackman. Participants learned about the responsibilities of representatives of these professions and working conditions.

Separately, experts presented training options: training in colleges, technical schools and universities, as well as additional vocational education programs. They explained how the employment service helps to determine the educational institution and find a job.

After the meeting, 12 students were interested in a career in the railway sector. The lesson was one of 11 classes of the autumn cycle: more than 200 schoolchildren participated in them.
