Additional weekends for parents of special children: SFR paid 45 thousand days

Each month, parents, guardians or trustees can take four additional paid days off. Mom and Dad can share or save up to 24 days. And if one hasn't used all the days, the other can take the rest.

The employer pays for these days, and the SFR compensates him for the expenses. Payment is on average earnings.

“Caring for a special child is a heavy burden. Additional weekends provide an opportunity to go to the doctor for rehabilitation. But important: unused days should be spent throughout the year. It is impossible to transfer them or get money, says Lyudmila Babichuk from the SFR in Kuzbass.

To arrange the weekend, you need to apply to the employer. Attach a certificate of disability, documents on the child's place of residence, birth certificate or guardianship documents, as well as a certificate from the work of the second parent.
