On the site Megletsy – Pestovo laid more than 30 kilometers of asphalt
On the section of the A-122 highway from the village of Megletsy to the city of Pestovo, more than 30 kilometers of asphalt pavement were laid. The Governor of the Novgorod region Alexander Dronov in the MAKS-channel said that the agreements on the repair were reached earlier at a meeting with the head of Rosavtodor Roman Novikov in Moscow.

As of today, road workers have fully completed the amount of work planned for 2026: they removed the old coating and laid the leveling layer. Now the site is transferred to winter maintenance.
The repair of the route is designed for three years - until 2028. The next stages will include laying the top layer of asphalt, replacing road signs, installing new pavilions and barrier fences, as well as equipping landing sites.
Federal highway A-122 connects three regions - Novgorod, Vologda and Pskov regions. Inter-municipal bus routes pass through it, and daily traffic is about 2 thousand cars.
