A friend of the actor Anatoly Kalmykov told about his last years

Actor Anatoly Kalmykov in recent years almost did not appear in public and preferred solitude. About his lifestyle in an interview with Aif.ru told the actor and Director Sergey Rublev, who was familiar with the artist.

According to Rublev, the actor spent most of his free time at the dacha with his wife, loved to fish and walk in the forest.

“He lived in seclusion in recent years, did not lead social networks, sometimes starred in comedies,” said Rublev.

He said that Kalmykov became ill with his heart on October 31, when he was out of town. According to the wife of the artist, the cause of death was a heart attack. At the same time, despite the secluded lifestyle, the actor made plans for new shootings and theater projects. A friend called him a cheerful person with a great sense of humor.

Kalmykov’s funeral will be held on November 10 at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery. By the decision of the family, the ceremony will be held in a narrow circle of loved ones.

During his career, the artist took part in more than 160 film projects. Among his works are the films “The Man from the Boulevard of the Capuchins”, “Shirli-myrli”, the series “The Return of Mukhtar”, “Interns” and “Do not be born beautiful”. He was also remembered by the audience for the commercials of the White Eagle and Rondo.
