I haven't seen my daughter in two years. The court deprived the parental rights of the Minsk citizen

The court with the participation of the prosecutor considered a civil case on the claim of a Minsk woman about the deprivation of parental rights of the father of her seven-year-old daughter, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency reports.

Minchanka was married to the defendant, in 2019 they had a daughter. Two years later, the couple divorced. After the divorce, the father withdrew from the upbringing of the child, does not participate in the maintenance of the daughter. Moreover, the man leads an immoral lifestyle, abuses alcohol, repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility. He hasn't seen his daughter in two years, and his mother pays for him.

The plaintiff filed a petition for deprivation of the ex-spouse of parental rights, but he did not appear in court.

“The court, having heard the positions of the parties and state bodies, having studied the written materials of the case, decided to deprive the man of parental rights in relation to the underage daughter,” said Ilona Zinkovskaya, senior assistant prosecutor of the Oktyabrsky district. The girl was transferred to the upbringing of her mother.

The court decision has not entered into legal force.
