Two historic buildings in Kostroma received new owners for restoration
In Kostroma found new owners for two old historical houses

In Kostroma found new owners for two dilapidated historical houses. Now the owners have to restore the buildings and prepare them for modern use, preserving their historical value.
The first object is located on the street Lesnoy, 51. The red-brick building originally served as the main office of the Serapion Zabenkin bell mollite factory. The company cast bells weighing up to 27.8 tons, which were sent to various Russian cities.
The inspectorate for the protection of cultural heritage objects expressed hope that the house, located near the Volga, hotels and the monastery, after restoration will again become part of urban life.
The second building is located in Kadyevsky Lane, 12. The house of the late XIX century, made in the style of Kostroma eclecticism, sold for one ruble. For more than a hundred years people lived in it, but later the building was resettled, and it remained empty for a long time.
The new investor must rebuild the house and adapt it for later use. Thus, both objects were able to survive and find a new purpose.
