The Prosecutor’s office of Kochubeyev district supported the prosecution in a criminal case against two local residents. The court found them guilty of slave labor.
According to the investigation, the brothers from the village of Kochubeyevsky deceived a 22-year-old man without means of subsistence. He was promised a good salary for services in the provision and use of trampoline systems.
Instead, from August 2024 to March 2026, they curtailed his freedom, confiscating his mobile phone and documents. Using violence, forced to perform construction and household work without pay.
Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court appointed the defendants imprisonment for terms from 6 to 7 years in a general regime correctional colony.
The cell phones of the convicts and the electroshock device were confiscated as a weapon of crime.
