Dzerzhinsk hosts Dozhinki: Belarusians congratulated on the holiday

From the fields to the center of the celebration. The harvest festival takes Dzerzhinsk. To honor those who work on the land, guests from all over the region and the country came today.

The main characters are farmers. In their honor – a large cultural and entertainment program and, of course, a loaf.

The city has significantly changed for the holiday. This is already a good Belarusian tradition to restore order and improve the social sphere in the settlements that host Dozhinki.

The President congratulated the participants and guests of the festival.

“Today is a significant day for all farmers of the Minsk region, who, carefully preserving the best traditions of domestic agriculture, master modern technologies,” the Head of State noted.

Special words of gratitude were addressed to agronomists, harvesters, drivers, managers of all levels and other specialists who showed the highest professionalism. The President wished the villagers of the central region good health, happiness and new achievements for the benefit of their native Belarus.

Valeria Timoshkova, correspondent: Today, it seems that we have gathered everything for which we love Belarusian holidays. Music, dance, delicious food and, of course, people! I think for most of the “Dozhinka-2026” is not only an occasion to celebrate the end of the harvest. But also look into the history of the city, and maybe talk with old friends. And first of all, create a mood and say “thank you” to those who every day from dawn to dusk do everything to our tables were tasty and quality products.

It's definitely not just from the stage! And to go through all the streets and playgrounds is almost a sporting task. Trade has developed for one and a half kilometers, more than 120 points work. Each district has its own treats, souvenirs and quarrying farmsteads.

There are sports grounds, too. The program includes friendly matches and meetings with stars. Emergencies Ministry, traffic police, Department of security, military – they have something to tell and show, technological capabilities will leave few indifferent. And, of course, the exhibition of agricultural machinery. It is located near the festival of folk crafts. Cameras today work no less than concert microphones. You can take a picture with the cutting edges of the harvest, consider the main symbol of the holiday - a loaf of Minsk region. To preserve the history of the day in the memory of the city will help and a new sculpture. "Her name is a woman." The beauty with ears in her hands is a collective image, in the theme of the year.

This scale is not for nothing. Half of the districts of the Minsk region threshed more than 100 thousand tons of grain. And Slutsky and Kopylsky crossed the historical milestone of 200 thousand. And the Minsk region leads in hammering in the country - put in the republican loaf almost 2.5 million tons of grain, including rapeseed. Walking in Dzerzhinsk is getting louder every hour. There are more and more people on the streets.

There are creative teams on stage. The big concert of cultural stars starts at 19:30. Headliner, Na-Na. And the holiday will end with fireworks and evening disco.

The harvest of this season is almost harvested, which means it is time to relax and get the long-awaited awards.
