Efimov said that 20 social facilities were built and reconstructed in the capital

For 10 months of 2026, 20 social facilities were built and reconstructed at the expense of the Moscow budget. The construction is carried out within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.

The development of the urban environment remains one of the key priorities of the capital: it is important for residents to have access to quality infrastructure – from educational and medical institutions to sites for creativity and leisure. From January to October 2026 in Moscow at the expense of the city budget, 20 objects with a total area of about 300 thousand square meters were built and reconstructed, said Vladimir Efimov, head of the Moscow Complex of Urban Planning Policy and Construction.

He added that among them are the Central Moscow Hippodrome, Vasily Nesterenko Gallery, schools, kindergartens, hospital buildings, polyclinics and a cultural and leisure center with a school of arts.

New facilities appeared in CAO, WAO, SAO, SZAO, ZAO, SVAO, SVAO, as well as in Tinao.

Thus, a large-scale reconstruction of the Central Moscow Hippodrome was completed. Specialists have restored the main building. On the territory, a modern horse courtyard was built with stables, a veterinary block and a stadium.

In the Butyrsky district, an art gallery of Vasily Nesterenko was also built with exhibition halls, a fund storage and workshops. A cultural and sports center for sections and events was built in Pechatniki, a four-storey building of the police department under the Safe City program was built in Losinoostrovsky district.
