The expert told Volgograd residents how to save on products for the New Year
RIA Novosti reported: senior analyst of the investment company Valeria Popova recommends not to wait until December and start purchasing for the festive table now

Before the New Year there are more than three months, but some products quietly fall to the celebration, but the December bustle traditionally hits both on budget and on nerves.
According to Popova, the point is not panic because of a possible rise in price, but in the usual household logistics.
“There are also objective factors in favour of October. In the fourth quarter, categories that depend on harvest and logistics rise in price: vegetables and fruits - because of seasonality, delicacies - because of demand. By December, prices for alcohol and sparkling are traditionally rising, including due to the indexation of excise taxes. Red caviar adds 10-15%, and tangerines and other citrus fruits by mid-December – 10-20% due to overloaded logistics.
In the list of goods that can be taken now, the expert included cereals, pasta, sugar, flour, canned food, vegetable oil, honey, tea, coffee, cocoa, nuts, dried fruits and chocolate.
Champagne and red caviar, according to Popova, deserve special attention. Before the holiday, the price of them jumps the fastest, and now the shelves are replenished with the freshest products of the Far Eastern Putin. As for November, some long-stored goods can also be taken, but without haste: during sales on 11.11 and Black Friday, marketplaces raise prices in advance to allegedly make a discount.
A different situation with products that buy for the future is pointless. Fresh meat and minced meat, chilled fish and seafood, dairy products, soft cheeses and ready meals will simply not live until the holiday - their shelf life is too short.
