Some drivers who violated traffic rules believe that they received a fine not through their own fault, but because of the presence of a certain “plan” at the traffic police. This myth dispelled the head of the Main Department of the State Automobile Inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Viktor Rotchenkov on the air of the ONT TV channel, writes sb.by.

Commenting on the opinion that the number of fines for traffic violations is planned in advance, Viktor Rotchenkov noted:
- It makes me laugh when they talk about a “penalty plan.” To date, in the Republic of Belarus, a warning is provided for the first time for committing an administrative offense in the field of road safety. So it's funny when you talk about some sort of fines. How can a traffic police officer, for example, carry out a plan to apprehend drivers who are intoxicated? It's totally illogical.
He commented on another myth:
- That the employee is angry at the end of the month or kind at the beginning of the month. That's a stereotype, too. On a daily basis, traffic police officers primarily assist all road users. There are a lot of examples when quickly, quickly, at any time of the day, in any weather, an employee will come to the rescue, accompany them to a health care institution, help someone cross the road.
In addition, some drivers believe that on some roads instead of cameras are dummy. This opinion is also erroneous, stressed the head of the GAI MIA:
Technology sometimes breaks down, it has to be maintained. The same speed devices require verification. Therefore, it can sometimes happen that the camera is not where it used to be for technical reasons. But we can also warn road signs about the presence of a photo fixation camera, and it will not be there. That's prevention, too.
