State traffic inspection of Kalmykia has strengthened control over children on the roads during the holidays

On the territory of Kalmykia, a preventive operation “Attention, children!” was launched. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and representatives of interested departments joined the work.

The need for increased control is due to seasonal factors. During school holidays, teenagers and children are often left to themselves. Due to lack of classes, they spend more time outside unaccompanied by adults, which leads to an increase in road accidents involving them.

To prevent accidents throughout the holidays in the region will be organized raiding activities and explanatory actions. The operation will end on November 1, 2026.
