Governor and Chairman of ZSK presented awards to Kuban farmers in Krasnodar

In Krasnodar, the harvest day was held, on which the best farmers of the Kuban were awarded. In 2026, the gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops in the region amounted to 14 million tons.

In Krasnodar, a solemn event dedicated to the Harvest Day was held in the Central Concert Hall. The best agricultural workers were awarded by the chief federal inspector for the region Yevgeny Guliyev, governor Veniamin Kondratiev, chairman of the Legislative Assembly Yuri Burlachko and Metropolitan Vasily of Ekaterinodar and Kuban.

The holiday was also attended by Senator Alexei Kondratenko, State Duma Deputy Svetlana Bessarab, Deputy Chairman of ZSK Vladimir Beketov and Alexander Trubilin, deputies of the regional parliament, Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the region Fedor Derek, heads of agricultural enterprises, scientists and workers of the agrarian sector.

On behalf of the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District Vladimir Ustinov, farmers congratulated Evgeny Guliyev. For most Russians, the phrase “grown in the Kuban” means high-quality, tasty and natural products, and in the conditions of foreign sanctions, Kuban farmers were able to saturate the country’s food market with competitive products and expand the range.

Veniamin Kondratiev noted that thanks to the work of farmers, the Krasnodar Territory remains the guarantor of Russia's food security. Despite weather conditions and economic pressures, they continue to fight for every centner of products and show decent results from year to year.

The Governor also stressed the contribution of breeders in the region to ensure the economic and scientific independence of the country. Today, 100% of wheat and rice, as well as more than 50% of corn and sunflower areas are sown with domestic seeds.

Yuri Burlachko said that Harvest Day unites more than 230 thousand workers of the regional agro-industrial complex. He noted that the Krasnodar Territory adequately withstood the test of strength.

According to the Chairman of ZSK, compared to last year, the yield of winter wheat in the region increased by almost 9 centners per hectare, and corn and grain by more than 25 centners. He also said that Kuban produces more than 4 thousand items of finished products.

Burlachko added that despite the economic difficulties, the regional authorities continue to provide systemic support to the industry. This year, the volume of financial assistance to farmers amounted to 14 billion rubles, which is comparable to last year’s level.

Metropolitan Basil of Ekaterinodar and Kuban also addressed agricultural workers with gratitude and pastoral guidance.

During the event, farmers who achieved the best results in the agricultural year were awarded state and regional awards. Harvest leaders have traditionally received cars. The holiday ended with the performance of Kuban creative teams.
