Governor: Stavropol insured more than 1 million hectares of crops
In the Stavropol Territory expand agricultural insurance

In the Stavropol Territory, agricultural insurance is expanding. The governor of the region Vladimir Vladimirov said that more than 785 million rubles were provided for subsidizing insurance in crop production this year. This allowed to subsidize more than 1 million hectares of sown area - about 35% of the total area in the region.
197 agricultural enterprises, including 58 farms, received subsidies. In 2025, support covered 936,000 hectares, or 30% of crops. The growth is significant, which indicates the demand for the mechanism.
“It helps protect the harvest from unforeseen risks, compensate for losses and maintain the financial stability of farms,” Vladimirov said.
The head of the region noted that the task is to make support available to farms of any scale, help plan work more confidently and minimize the consequences of weather factors.
