Gusev discussed with the head of RVC-Voronezh the renewal of utility networks
Separately, it was about water lifting stations

The government of the region reported that the Governor Alexander Gusev held a working meeting with the General Director of RVC-Voronezh Sergey Bolgovym. The main attention was paid to the investment program, concession obligations, modernization of water supply and sanitation, as well as improving the reliability of urban municipal infrastructure.
Separately, we talked about water stations. In the summer, the enterprise for the first time since 2013 carried out a large-scale upgrade: a new water duct with a diameter of 1000 mm and a length of 3 km was put into operation, several valves with a diameter of 400 to 1000 mm were replaced, the stop-regulating valves at pressure and throttle nodes were checked, emergency sections of the pipes were updated. In addition, the reconstruction of a three-kilometer water conduit with a diameter of 500 mm on Ostrogozhskaya Street was completed.
According to Bolgov, the water utility is also working to reduce the time for eliminating accidents: it develops network monitoring and introduces digital solutions for forecasting emergency situations and servicing planning. Emergency crews are on duty around the clock, and the timing and quality of restoration work is controlled personally by the General Director. The priority is to promptly repair damage, reduce cold water outages and reduce inconvenience to residents.
Another topic was the implementation of the Governor’s order to strengthen environmental control over wastewater discharge. RVC-Voronezh opened the city’s first official point for receiving sewage and concluded 19 agreements with private carriers. Now the launch of three more drain stations on the left and right banks is being considered. The head of the region recommended that this work be continued.
