According to the northerner, the acquaintance took place in September, and then the communication continued in messengers. He said he was in Poland and wanted to visit him. After learning that the woman did not have a passport, he offered to transit through Turkey, but later asked for financial assistance for transportation costs and visa fees.
First, the pensioner transferred 50 thousand rubles through a banking application. After warning the bank about suspicious transactions, she began sending cash through the post office. To do this, the woman issued a loan and borrowed large sums from friends.
When almost all the money was transferred, the man stopped responding to messages. Relatives helped the pensioner to contact the police.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud”. Investigative and operational-search activities are being carried out.
Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” reported that virtual friends left Murmansk residents without 238 thousand rubles on tickets to the theater.
