Historical truth remains indivisible – search engine from Russia Svetlana Kolabskaya
Borders between states are being mapped by politicians, but a shared history, cemented by blood and shared victories by Belarusians, Russians and Poles, is not amenable.

Borders between states are mapped by politicians, but a shared history, cemented by blood and shared victories by Belarusians, Russians and Poles, defies such division. This opinion at the solemn rally dedicated to the 83rd anniversary of the battle of Lenino, shared the teacher, search engine Smolensk search association “Duty” Svetlana Kolabskaya, reports sb.by.

Smolensk searchers are frequent and welcome guests on Belarusian soil, where they, together with their Belarusian colleagues, participate in the Memory Watch. According to Svetlana Kolabskaya, in November last year they launched a new joint project “Memory without borders”. It aims to unite the public of the three countries studying the history of the First Polish Division named after Tadeusz Kosciuszko and the Soviet divisions as part of the 33rd Army. And this work went beyond seasonal excavations.
The Memory Without Borders project is a scientific and educational activity. We are working closely with the Central Archives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, we are restoring the course of battles bit by bit, trying to return the names of the dead unknown fighters, Svetlana Kolabskaya said. The results of this work are published on a specially created website - in Russian, Polish and English, making historical truth accessible to the whole world.

According to the Russian search engine, archival work allows a new look at the exploits of the war years. Thanks to the documents, for example, it was possible to clarify the details of the death of Hero of the Soviet Union Aneli Kzhivon, a memorial sign in honor of which was installed in the village of Nikolaevka. For a long time it was believed that she died near the village of Nikolenki, but archival data proved that the car with the wounded and documents, which was saved by Anel, was moving in the rear, in the direction of the Russian Nikolaevka.
- The soldiers, who were reburied in Lenino today, unfortunately, lay down in the ground anonymous, said Svetlana Kolabskaya. But the search engines do not give up and continue the expedition. Because in perpetuating the defenders of the Fatherland, a common history and a common memory are important, in which there is no place for politics, but only pure human gratitude.
